The Recruitment Process
Step one: Online Application
Registration
The first part of our application process is a page where you'll register your username and password. This takes around five minutes to complete. Please ensure you have a copy of your CV to hand as you will be asked to upload this during the process. Please also note that you may be asked to complete online psychometric testing depending on your career stream and qualifications.
Once you've registered, here's what to expect:
Personal details and minimum criteria
If you've done your research and are fully prepared with your personal details ready, this should take just a couple minutes to complete. We'll check that you meet our minimum criteria so, if you're in any doubt about what you need, check the Programme details.
Evidence of your achievements
If you've met our minimum criteria you'll be asked to complete the final section of the application form. This captures details on your education - school and university - and work experience within the IT industry. This should take around 10 minutes to complete.
Please note: If you've studied abroad and have international qualifications please provide your actual grades. We'll convert them on your behalf to the UK equivalent.
Step two: Telephone interview
If you've been successful so far we'll invite you to take part in a telephone interview. The interview can take up to 25 minutes and we'll ask you to expand on your past experience and how it relates to the work we do. We'll also provide information on our Graduate Programme and answer any questions you may have on your potential career with us.
Step three: Assessment centre
Once you're shortlisted you'll be invited to a Graduate Assessment centre, held in Reading. The assessment consists of a range of exercises designed to provide us with a comprehensive picture of your working skills and behaviours. These will include Numerical and Verbal Reasoning tests, a group activity (to see how you work as part of a team), a face-to-face interview and an individual fact finding exercise.
The day begins with a presentation on the company, and provides you with the opportunity to meet with business leaders as well as discussing your career opportunities and the day-to-day experiences of working within a large multinational. You'll usually be notified of the result within two working days of attending the Assessment Centre.
Step four: Offer Stage
If you're successful the next step will be for us to identify a suitable position for you, taking into account your preferred role and location. Once we've identified a position we'll be in touch to make an official offer of employment.
