Ongoing Support

Mentoring

Getting started in a new business, especially one as big as ours, can be a daunting experience. Having a mentor to take you under their wing makes a big difference. You'll be assigned someone from day one. They'll be on hand throughout those first few months and beyond. The responsibilities of your mentor will vary depending on your specific needs but, generally speaking, it works as follows:

Months 1-3 Buddy Mentor
Your mentor will help and support you with any general queries or issues during your first few months.

Months 3-18 Technical/Business Mentor
On top of providing assistance with personal development your mentor will work with you to create your Individual Learning Plan.

Months 18 onwards Senior Leader Mentor
In addition to providing advice and guidance on furthering your career after completing the Programme your mentor will also help you on the way to becoming a recognised expert in your chosen field.

Peer Group

On top of the Mentoring system we recognise that there's no substitute for being able to share your experiences with your peers, people who are going through everything you are. So we've put in place a number of ‘peer group' events and activities, giving you the perfect forum for discussing all sorts of stuff with your colleagues.

Symposiums
We hold one or more Trainee Symposiums each year where you'll come together for a full day's activities with some of our senior leaders.

Graduate Focus Group
This is a representative body for the graduate community that channels information to and from graduates and business leaders.

Graduate Ball
On completion of the Programme your achievement is formally acknowledged at a black tie dinner to which you and a guest are invited.

Graduate Forums
This is a Knowledge Centre for sharing information and providing business and social support.
