After completing my degree in Business Computing, which was very exciting and gave me an in-depth knowledge on management principles as well as a technological base, I started work with EDS.

The opportunity to join a large international market competitor was too good to refuse. My degree had given me the core theory and knowledge on aspects of project/IT management, and it's here at EDS that these skills are being nurtured and developed. The learning curve is steep and my work's exposed me to many project management disciplines in a very short space of time. I'm heavily involved in Risk Management and consultancy procurement, and recently managed my very own small project.

The opportunities are very good, but you have to be proactive and hard working. I've been here for just over 6 months now and really enjoy the work and fast paced environment. Also working on the prestigious Rolls-Royce Account, which involves international communication on a daily basis is very exciting. A high-pressure environment like this doesn't suit every taste but, if it attracts you, you'll thrive here.
