Priscilla Fonseca

I joined EDS Consulting Services in September 2007 as part of the graduate recruitment programme. I was attracted by the opportunity to advance my career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and so far I've not been disappointed. Whilst at EDS I've been provided with the necessary skills and guidance to excel in my current role. Consulting is an important and interesting aspect of EDS' business, involving engagement with our clients to understand what their challenges are, then proposing a solution that delivers added value to the clients business.

Since joining EDS I've worked on a variety of different assignments, mainly focusing on business development. One of my assignments involved corporate social responsibility and how we're addressing the social, environmental and economic challenges we face in our global business operations. Most recently I've been assigned the responsibility of facilitating a roundtable for CIO's from the worlds leading retail organisations. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my role, in particular the challenge of working with different clients across a variety of different sectors including retail, transport, communications, government and financial services. I've been given real responsibility for the progression of projects and I'm enjoying every moment of it.
